Windsor Quilters’ Guild is a group of women and men who meet once a month to learn new quilting tips, to share ideas, and show their finished quilt projects.
The morning session is a chance to visit the vendors who bring the newest and latest patterns, gadgets, fabrics and books to sell at reasonable prices, to visit and catch up with quilting friends, to pick up a comfort quilt project, to check out a library book and to purchase tickets for the guild raffle or the 50/50 draw.
There is a new demo each month, to refresh your memory on a variety of quilting techniques.
The business meeting begins at 11:00 am when the business of the guild is presented. All of our active committees update us on their activities and if and how we can get involved. This is the time set aside to handle the day to day issues that come up regarding the guild. Often we have time to do our Show and Tell before we break for lunch at noon. Our contract with the Legion requires us to respect their “No outside food or drinks” policy and so we are offered a good deal on lunch from the on-site caterer. After lunch our meeting resumes at 1:00 pm for the planned programme. Programmes vary and include “trunk shows”, guest speakers, teaching times, and theme celebrations.
Worried that you aren’t a skilled enough quilter to join the group or you can’t “hand-sew” well enough? Well, don’t be. No matter what your sewing ability we can find a project and a spot for you! In our group we all share and learn from each other.
SO COME ON OUT AND JOIN US!

Good morning ,
I have numerous tubs of material left from when I did quilting. Does the Windsor Guild take donations ?
Thanks for asking! We are happy to accept donations of good quality quilting cottons. We will put them to good use in our comfort quilts.
The site is looking fabulous these days. Thank you Ann for all your support and hard work.
