Mary and Corinne are the WQG’s Comfort Quilts committee. They are responsible for the administrative aspects of Comfort Quilts, receiving and organizing the donated fabrics, preparing kits, receiving and tracking the quilts that are created and then distributing the quilts to the various organizations and charities. Although they largely spend Sit ‘n’ Sew Tuesdays in the back storage room fulfilling these responsibilities they find time at home to make quilts to contribute to our collection.
Today at Maryvale there were 24 quilts turned in. You can see some of our Comfort Quilts on display at our upcoming Quilt Show, May 2 & 3.
