Quilting Friends in Windsor Ontario
We are collecting placemats for our annual donation to Meals on Wheels at Christmas. There were about 50 placemats turned in at the sewing day at Maryvale. As well, 29 quilts were handed in. The quilts are distributed throughout the year to local organizations and charities.

Our annual quilting retreat was held April 16 & 17, 2026 at a new venue this year, St. Matthew's Anglican church in South Windsor. Here a few pics of our members enjoying themselves and showing off what they accomplished.
Twenty-eight quilts today! Included in these 28 were a few donations from friends of our guild but most of these quilts were completed and turned in by the faithful quilters who make quilts regularly to be given away. There were a number of quilts in progress at Maryvale today. But these were turned in already completed. There is one placemat and one receiving blanket too.
A good number of quilts were turned in today at Maryvale, thirty-eight in all, along with a bunch of placemats. We are so grateful for all the donations and the work that goes into making these quilts.
The quilters at Sit 'n' Sew continue to churn out quilts (16 today) and the need especially for children's quilts continues to grow. We also receive quilt donations from guild members and non-members. Some donate a quilt top, some donate a complete quilt. Some sew the quilt top and others quilt them. And some do …
