Maryvale generously allows us to use their community room for Comfort Quilt sewing twice each month, for our workshops throughout the year and to store our comfort quilts and fabrics on site at no cost. Our makers have been busy over the summer. They turned in 36 quilts, some at the September guild meeting and some at today's Sit 'n' Sew at Maryvale. Thank you makers!!! A dozen quilts will be making their way to Journey Home Hospice (a hospice for the homeless) soon.

Today we made progress on a number of quilts as we gathered at Maryvale. Nineteen Comfort Quilts were turned in! Sherry V. made and donated 38 placemats to add to our collection for Meals on Wheels!
