There were 41 quilts turned in today at Maryvale and 47 placemats too.
Today was a quieter day at Maryvale for Sit 'n' Sew. But still there were 12 quilts handed in and a good amount of placemats added to our collection.
Here are the comfort quilts (24) and placemats (44) that were turned in today at Maryvale. We are at 309 placemats collected so far. They will be donated to Meals on Windsor for the Christmas give-away.
This is a Sit 'n' Sew day for the Windsor Quilters' Guild. We had 19 quilts turned in today and 42 placemats. We have an incredible core group each of whom continues to make quilts (plural!) for each Sit 'n' Sew. Thank you, ladies!! I know who you are. There are others like me who …
We are collecting placemats for our annual donation to Meals on Wheels at Christmas. There were about 50 placemats turned in at the sewing day at Maryvale. As well, 29 quilts were handed in. The quilts are distributed throughout the year to local organizations and charities.

Our annual quilting retreat was held April 16 & 17, 2026 at a new venue this year, St. Matthew's Anglican church in South Windsor. Here a few pics of our members enjoying themselves and showing off what they accomplished.
Twenty-eight quilts today! Included in these 28 were a few donations from friends of our guild but most of these quilts were completed and turned in by the faithful quilters who make quilts regularly to be given away.
