Many quilts and placemats are being made and donated to our Comfort Quilts programme. Today at Maryvale 55 placemats were turned in and 17 quilts. Our goal for placemats is 500 by early December for Meals on Wheels to distribute at Christmas. Thank you to all our makers who are generous with their time, talent …
Our makers have been busy over the summer. They turned in 36 quilts, some at the September guild meeting and some at today's Sit 'n' Sew at Maryvale. Thank you makers!!! A dozen quilts will be making their way to Journey Home Hospice (a hospice for the homeless) soon.
Today was the last Sit 'n' Sew of the summer. Some of our stitchers took a break for the summer but many continued to make and contribute quilts. Here are the quilts and placemats turned in today at Maryvale. Thank you makers!!
Today we made progress on a number of quilts as we gathered at Maryvale. Nineteen Comfort Quilts were turned in! Sherry V. made and donated 38 placemats to add to our collection for Meals on Wheels!
Our stitchers continue to work on quilts through the summer. Eighteen comfort quilts were turned in at Maryvale today.

About 15 women gathered at Maryvale today. We enjoyed the company of fellow quilters and the goodies supplied by Michèle B. We were cutting, piecing, layering and quilting quilts for Comfort Quilts. Seventeen quilts were turned in today. Thank you makers!!
